ABOUT THE SENIOR EVANGELIST

Senior Evangelist Samuel Gilmore brings to the Living Word Evangelistic Ministries, the wealth of over 29 years experience as an ordained Elder, Evangelist, Pastor, Church/Ministry planter and Author. He accepted his call to the Gospel ministry on January 1, 1980 at the Immanuel Fellowship Church, Indianapolis, IN, pastored by early ministry mentor and mother, the late Evang. E. Faye Gilmore. Evang. was ordained as an Elder of the Church of God in Christ, Inc. (C.O.G.I.C.) in March of 1986, by the late Bishop F. D. Macklin, Jurisdictional Prelate of the HQ Jurisdiction C.O.G.I.C., Inc., with the late Int’l Presiding Bishop J. O. Patterson, Sr. in attendance.  Sr. Evang. Gilmore served as Youth Pastor at the Gospel Tabernacle of Faith Church, Miami, FL from 1988 to 1990. From 2000 to 2005, Evang. Gilmore served as a special Pastoral Assistant and Adjutant to his mentor, the late Bishop J. Neaul Haynes and Director of Evangelistic and Outreach services at Saintsville Sanctuary C.O.G.I.C., Dallas, TX, pastored by Bishop J. Neaul Haynes. Additionally, during the time frame of 1998-2000 and 2005-2009, Sr. Evang. Gilmore served as the Sr. Pastor of two congregations in the DFW, TX area; New Life Fellowship Church and The Living Word Church. Over the years, the Lord has given Sr. Evang. Gilmore the opportunity to travel and minister in virtually every state of the United States. He has conducted revivals, crusades for, and/or collaborated with notable luminaries such as, the late Bishop G.E. Patterson, Archbishop Veron Ashe, televangelism broadcast pioneer Rev. David Epley, Rev. Robert Tilton, gospel music recording executive/producer, Rev. Milton Biggham and Rev. Demond Wilson (Lamont) of “Sanford and Son” television series fame just to name a few. He is also the President/Exec. Director of the Word Fellowship of Ministries/Churches (WFMC) and of several think tanks/political action committees. Sr. Evang. Gilmore resides in the city of Dallas, TX.
